Now that I can breathe...

So here's the lowdown on Rules of Engagement:

It's been picked up by Dreamspinner Press and the tentative release date is December 2009. I know what Adam and Scarlett will be getting for Christmas (I owe them...they read it as I wrote it and saved it - more than once - from the Wangstbasket).

The book will be available in paperback and eBook. They also contracted the audio rights, but I have no idea if it will be produced as an audio book.

I'm stoked as hell about selling any book, but I'm exceptionally proud of this one because Rules of Engagement is one of my favorites out of all of my books. In fact, it's pretty much tied for the #1 spot with The Best Man. Why are both of my favorites gay romances? No idea. Probably because they're a step out of my comfort zone and were so challenging to write. That, or I just like them for no apparent reason. Either way, getting this particular book published makes me extra giddy. (And on top of that, Libbie sent me her final critique on The Best Man today, and her glowing comments made me even more giddy)

Giddy day, mate. <-- I'm either extra happy or a stuttering Aussie.

And now that all of that is out of the way, I must celebrate this day in the time-honored fashion of...yes...posting mancandy all over my blog. And since I mentioned Aussies, it seems only fitting to include one... Who did you expect? Nicole Kidman?
