At last! An update...

I know, I know, it's been a few days. We've been running around like headless chickens in between trying to get over jetlag (me) and a cold (Eddie). Nothing terribly exciting to report, aside from having drinks and munchies with Loki, Libbie, and various other people. Today, Eddie is off to visit his parents while I go to have dinner with a writer friend.

Speaking of writing, I haven't done much in the last few days. Too much running around and too little sleep. Tonight, though, I intend to pick my friend's brain about some of the specifics of Light Switch. Then tomorrow, I have set aside a few hours to actually do some writing. Hooray! As much as I love being on vacation, the writing itch needs to be scratched.

So...well...now you see why there hasn't been much in the way of blogging over the last few days. I'd rather not fill my blog with boring accounts of the minutiae of my life unless there's something not boring about it. For example, I could tell you I got a haircut the other day that resulted in a net loss of about a pound of hair, but that's "meh". Now, marginally more exciting would be the haircut Eddie got yesterday, simply because he was having it shaved and snipped in preparation for the 30 Seconds to Mars concert...during which his hair will be dyed bright red and shaped into a mohawk. (Yes, there will be photos)

Anyway...more updates to come as slightly more exciting things occur.
