I am so high right now.

Put the final coat of poly in the master bedroom, and the first coat in the dining room. As such, my house now reaks of polyurethane, and the cats and I are higher than first year college students. And if Shponker walks across that wet floor one more time, so help me, I'm going to kill him.

It's been a fairly uneventful day thus far. I spent about 45 minutes doing some last minute sanding in the dining room, and applying the poly took about 15 minutes total. Hey, at least SOMETHING is easy.

So now I'm sitting here looking at walls that need to be painted, floors that still need sanding, and an entire staircase that needs to be stripped...but my hands and back are killing me, so I think I'm going to call it a day today. I might even get some writing done...but that depends on how much my hands want to cooperate.

And now I have to go kill my cat, who is walking across the wet floor. Again.
