"How the hell are we supposed to do the 'Macarena', moron? We don't have any arms!"
Note the size of the people, then the size of the manta ray. Then note that he's several feet away from the glass, and is actually bigger than he looks. We may have an opportunity to go swim with these guys out in the wild. I SO hope we get to.
The restaurant is right up next to the tank, and we were fortunate enough to snag a table right next to the glass. Eddie got to the table just as another couple did, but they were gracious enough to share it with us. The view was spectacular. I did the best I could to get some pictures, but the lighting is not conducive to photography, so bear with me.
Stingray Parking Only. This was my view from our table during lunch:
I could have easily spent all day sitting in front of that tank, but there were limited tables and a lot of people, so we left after lunch. One of these days, I will come back on a weekday, wherein I can sit and drool over the dozens of rays, sharks, etc.
When we got outside, we were just in time to find seats for the DOLPHIN SHOW! I've seen an Orca show before, but never a dolphin show.
I'm sorry, whut? You're in Japan? All I can see is that shit-hot blog banner you got there.
ReplyDeleteAnd you'd like one just like it, wouldn't you? Only with a pic of the Mattastrophe on it...
