The word of the day here in my world is ANTICIPATION.
Edits of Rules of Engagement will be here any day now and the book will be released in December. I've got my copies of Between Brothers en route to me as we speak (Have you ordered yours yet?). I've got numerous queries and four full manuscripts out there, any of which could be answered in the very, very near future.
Anxiety. I has it.
I'm also eagerly anticipating November 1st, because that's the beginning of NaNoWriMo. And yes, of course, I'm participating, which means I can't start my book until the 1st. Now that World Enough and Time has been outlined, the characters are calling to me. Keeping me up at night, whispering in my ear, demanding to be written. I really really really really really want to start this book. Like...now. But I will wait. In the meantime, I will amuse myself with Closer and with looking up romantic and erotic poetry for World Enough and Time (and thanks to everyone who has sent me poems - huge help!).
And of course, I'll be working on the outline.
And thinking about the characters.
And tweaking the outline some more.
