Decisions, decisions.

My 30th birthday is coming up in October, and while I'm not going crazy at the thought of hitting the big 3-0, I am thinking it would be fun to do something special for that birthday. I've been thinking about it for a while, stroking my chinbeard in contemplation and ponderation, and I've finally decided what I want:

For my 30th birthday, I want a passport stamp that none (or at least few) of my other friends already have.

So Eddie and I are looking at travel sites and planning to meet with the military travel agency upon our return from the States. Living where we do, we're close to a lot of exotic locales...the question is, where do we go?

We're planning to go to mainland Japan quite a bit over the next year or so; it doesn't take much to fly up for a weekend in Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima, or a hike up to Mount Fuji. But not for this trip. For this, I want to go someplace really out of the ordinary.

Go chase Komodo dragons on Komodo? Group tour to Cambodia to visit Angkor Wat? Borneo? Bali? Vietnam?

Where would you go, loyal blog minions?
