So my NaNoWriMo novel is done. I've edited it as much as I can think to edit, so now I need some more eyes to take a look at it. Any takers?
It doesn't matter if you are a writer: I want a reader or two to look at it as well, from the perspective of a consumer rather than a professional.
It's roughly 51,000 words per MS Word's word counter, which is basically a short novel. It's a romance, but definitely on the erotica end of the romance spectrum. There are several explicit love scenes (when I say explicit, I mean detailed and graphic, but not over-the-top Penthouse-style or foofy romance novel euphemisms), so if that's not your cup of tea, or you don't think you'll ever be able to look me in the eye again after reading it, you probably won't want to read this one.
So, if you're interested, shoot me an e-mail or leave a comment. It doesn't need to be a line-by-line critique, I just want to know what you like about it, what you don't like, what makes sense, what doesn't make sense, etc. I'd like to start submitting it for publication fairly soon, so ideally, I'd like to get feedback by the end of December if possible.
You will forever be my hero if you do. And not "hero" in the sense of a barely-clad Fabio on the cover of a romance novel. Unless you are a barely-clad Fabio on the cover of a romance novel, in which case...well...you still have to read my book to be my hero.

I will totally read it if you want readers. It is not my usual type of read but I am willing to expand my horizons.
ReplyDeleteHOORAY! Shoot me an e-mail (thethinker42(at)gmail(dot)com) and I'll send you the manuscript. You rawk! :D
ReplyDeleteI hope it's not too fulthy. You know how sensitive I are.
ReplyDeleteSo when do you need a beta reader for sins?
ReplyDeletePapercuts: Nothing is too fulthy for you.
ReplyDeleteMisa: Whenever I finish editing the damn thing. 100 manuscript pages down...500 to go...
Hey if you ever manage to make something to fulthy for Papercuts I definitely want to read it.
