Yesterday, my co-author submitted three queries to agents for Black Dark. He also submitted one a few weeks back to a big agent ("big" as in, the agency that represented H.G. Wells and Agatha Christie).
This morning?
The agent he contacted previously e-mailed him and showed some interest. Wants to see more.
One of the agents he contacted yesterday? FULL MANUSCRIPT REQUEST.
So much for finishing Rules of Engagement today; I will be working like a madwoman to spit-shine the hell out of this manuscript. Cross your fingers!!
