I know, I know, I haven't been blogging much.

I've been remiss in my blogging duties lately. What can I say? I've been a busy little bee.

Second round edits for The Distance Between Us are done, so I'm just waiting for the final line edit. The first draft of Light Switch has begun, and so far the first chapter has met Scarlett's approval, so that's a good start. I've been doing some research on a few things for that book, since it branches into some very new territory for me. Fortunately, I've acquired a "consultant" to help me with some of it, so hopefully my accuracy won't be all fuckered up.

In other news, I got a very nice personal rejection from an agent this morning. He said he really likes my writing, but isn't familiar enough with my genre to properly represent me. However, should I end up with a contract in hand and need an agent to help negotiate it, I can contact him. It's still a rejection, but hey, it's better than a form rejection or a "never write anything again" rejection. Good times.

So anyway, I've been busy and quasi-productive, just haven't had a chance to do much blogging, especially since I've been a little under the weather for a few days. Never fear! More witty commentary, Japanistan trouble-causings, and mancandy objectification coming soon!

Now...back to Light Switch...

  1. Whenever you're blogging you're not writing fulth.

    It vexes me.

    I am terribly vexed.

  2. See, folks? THIS is why I haven't been blogging I take three seconds away from writing filth, the Parrish gets vexed, and I get in trouble.

    Back to writing filth.
