NaNoWriMo is now over for 2010, at least for those of us in this time zone. Okay, technically there's an hour and a half left, but I'm calling it a night.
Final total? 115,176 words.
Fell about 35,000 short of what I wanted to hit, but I'm not complaining. Had a few setbacks this month, plus some personal distractions, so I'm perfectly happy.
Now I just need to finish Who's Your Daddy? and move on to the next project.
Next month, I'm shifting gears a little bit. I won't be holding myself to my usual "one first draft/60,000 words" a month rule, because I need to spend some time revising. My editor has asked for some revisions on Damaged Goods. NSFW, Guilt by Association, and Who's Your Daddy? will all need to be edited. I also have two series on the table right now, and I need to get them outlined, write up some synopses, and do some planning, plotting, and scheming there. There are also some edits coming down the pipeline for books that are getting ready to be released, so it's just as well.
So, December won't be as much new material, but hopefully it'll get me caught up on some other stuff. That, and I'll be figuring out my goals for 2011.
And finally, Rain is now available on Fictionwise.
Now...off to bed with me. Good night, loyal blog minions!

That an impressive word count, even if it wasn't quite what you wanted!
ReplyDeleteThanks! :) I'm not unhappy with it by any means, but I *will* try to hit 150K next November. :D
